My name is Karen (pronounce Car-in, thankfully) and I am a homeschool mom to a middle school only child. I used to be in the edtech field after getting my Elementary Education Bachelors degree and now I am making homeschool curriculum, running a homeschool group, while trying to homeschool my daughter at the same time. 

I enjoy planning meetups for the homeschool group I created as well as planning lessons for my daughter to work on.

In my own time I enjoy working on researching for curriculum, spending way too much time on Tiktok, hanging out with all of our pets, and cooking. I used to actually have a cooking blog back in the day!

I am a Type B mom with spurts of Type A sprinkled in. I love to research new curriculum. One thing you can expect from me on this site is a sarcastic, warm, open-minded, and laid-back approach to homeschooling and anything else I write about. I am a bit of a goofball and I don’t take myself too seriously…as you can see. Welcome!
